The programs of Wilderness Life – wilderness tours and courses in Norway and Sweden – take place under the open sky, at possibly uncomfortable weather conditions and darkness, in varied and partly difficult terrain, in the midst of all natural beings and in the community of all participants. You are prepared to embark on such a journey.
Your physical and mental condition allows you to join the program booked. This applies also to participating children and youth who are in your care. You dispose of equipment that is suited to the program. Insufficient condition or equipment can lead to exclusion from the program, in case it might jeopardize your safety, the safety and wellbeing of others, or the course of the program.
As a participant you keep full responsibility for yourself (and, where applicable, for children and youth who are in your care) during the entire program.
You follow the instructions for your safety and the safety of others during the entire course of the program.
I do actively work for the safety and wellbeing of all participants. Yet I can’t guarantee for events which are beyond my reach. The programs might be subject to changes due to unforseen circumstances.
Naturally, I shall incur liability for loss or damage falling into the responsibility of Wilderness Life, and those cases are covered by a corresponding insurance. It is your own responsibility as a participant to provide a personal travel and accident insurance.
In case you have special needs concerning food, accomodation, activities or emergencies, you point them out in the booking process already. If I won’t be informed but later, I possibly cannot take them into account.
The use of alcohol and drugs is not welcome.
These conditions also apply to independent outdoor stays in the context of Nature Mentoring Programs.
You book the desired program via the BOOKING online-form. You receive a copy of your booking immediately in your email account. In another email I confirm your booking and send you all further information about the program and the payment. Your place is reserved as soon as I’ve received a deposit of 10% of the full price, rounded up to a round 10,- / 100,- nok.
The deposit is due on booking. Your place is reserved by the deposit paid.
The remaining billing amount is to be paid within 30 days before the start of overnight programs, resp. 7 days before the start of day programs. If the booking takes place on shorter terms, the whole billing amount is immediately due. You can solely participate in a program, if the billing amount is fully paid.
Online-programs without a fixed date start when completely paid. A place in an online-program expires, if the billing amount isn’t completely paid within 30 days after booking confirmation.
Cancelation, Break Off, Exclusion and Refund
You can cancel your booking of overnight programs within 30 days before start, and of day programs within 3 days before start. The billing amount minus deposit is then immediatly refunded.
In case you cancel your booking of overnight programs within 15 days before start, and of day programs within 3 days before start, 50% of the billing amount are refunded, if there is no substitute.
Do you cancel even later, there will be no refund, if there is no substitute.
Wilderness Life can cancel programs due to unforeseen circumstances or the lack of participants. In these cases the whole billing amount is refunded. In case a running program is to break off due to unforeseen circumstances, the billing amount is refunded proportionally after deduction of the costs incurred.
You (and children or youth who are in your care) can be excluded from a program due to jeopardizing your own safety, the safety and wellbeing of others, or the course of the program by reasons you are responsable for (insufficient condition or equipment). This case doesn’t justify any claim for refund.
